Join the Illinois AFL-CIO for the Labor Salutes Inaugural Awards Reception on Wednesday, February 16 from 5-7 pm at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Presidential Ballroom.  The awards reception will honor elected officials who advocate for worker rights.  Three awards will be presented including the Zeke Giorgi Award to Rep. Marcus Evans, Jr; the Margaret Blackshere Woman in Leadership Award to IL Comptroller Susana Mendoza; and the Reuben Soderstrom Award to Senate President Don Harmon.  All proceeds from the event will benefit "Vote YES for Workers Rights".
